Take 10 minutes to make, plus glue-drying time.
Use the blossom pattern from the Easter decoration.
Materials
I used DK cotton with a 2.5mm hook
Self adhesive flat magnets from local craft shop
Glue
Blossom
Ch 10.
3 Htr in second chain from hook.
3 Htr in every remaining stitch to end of base chain.
Tie off, keeping a longtail of about 8cm.
Stitch as desired into spiral, right side up, using the long tail.
Weave in ends.
Make up
Take a normal wooden clothes peg (as they are flat, so easy to stick magnets to).
Apply right sized magnetic strip (15mm long-ish for good magnetic stick) to the back of the peg, just about between where the wire hooks into the wood and the spring.
Glue the blossom onto the lower part of the peg front, where the wire hooks onto the wood - you need to leave the "handle" part free so you can use the peg easily.
Let the glue dry, and you're done!
