Let's be honest, most of us have done a bit of craft in our time, with varying degrees of success.
I started by making outfits for my teddies on my Mum's old Singer sewing machine (yes, the one with the handle you have to turn) and loved it. I was less successful with knitting, despite my Grandmother's insistence it was easy once you got going...hmmm.
Luckily an aunt introduced me to crocheting, and one summer, as a child, I knitted a whole blanket - I felt so pleased with myself.

It's only recently, with moving into a house from a flat, that I've started getting back into making all sorts of things for the house; chair covers, blinds, cushions, and pillows.
In this frenzy of crafting activity I very recently re-discovered crocheting, and I'd forgotton just how much fun it is and I'm hooked again. It's especially good if, like me, you don't have a huge amount of patience - crocheting is so immediate.
I just hope you enjoy reading about my crochet adventures and can follow some of my more made-up patterns - please let me know what you think!
I also have recently started an Etsy shop, so please have a look and let me know what you think, just click on the below link.
